Those individuals that knew Darlene described her music vocals as the voice of a Nightingale.

  • Darlene Rodriguez– The Co-Anchor for the show Today in New York that airs on the television network WNBC. She has also served as a fill-in Newsreader for Natalie Morales on The Today Show and early on for Ann Curry. Darlene Rodriguez was a General Assignment Reporter for Newsradio 88 for four years. She is of Puerto Rican ancestry but grew up in the Bronx, she graduated from the University of Miami and received her degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
